Małżeństwo zaprzyjaźnionych z „Solidarnością” artystów przekazało Archiwum Komisji Krajowej reprinty stworzonych przez siebie plakatów informujących o ważnych dla Związku wydarzeniach.
Niektóre z plakatów są unikatowe, nie wiadomo, czy takie egzemplarze znajdują się w jakimkolwiek innym polskim zbiorze. Były pokazywane w różnych krajach, najczęściej w Niemczech, ponieważ tam mieszkali i tworzyli artyści. Zachęcały do solidarności z Polską po wprowadzeniu stanu wojennego.
CUDZE CHWALICIE, SWEG0 NIE ZNACIE Zdarza się, że odkrywamy interesujące wydarzenia, ludzi, przedmioty, a przede wszystkim miejsca, tam, gdzie się ich nie spodziewamy. Sala BHP Stoczni Gdańskiej co prawda wpisała się w historię Polski, ale przez wielu Polaków jest postrzegana jako element przeszłości, i to na dodatek dzisiaj już martwy. A to nieprawda. Bowiem obok stałej ekspozycji ukazującej zarówno historię ,,Solidarności”; jak i moment podpisania Porozumień Sierpniowych, organizowane są w niej ciekawe wystawy. Zapraszam na najnowszą, związaną także z ,,Solidarnością”, ale wyjątkową, bo i jej autor jest postacią nietuzinkową, Mówi się o nim ,,człowiek renesansu”. Spełnione MARZENIE
Właściwie powinnam nazwać ten tekst Moja Solidarność. Taki jest tytuł wystawy, ale zdecydowanie bardziej adekwatne jest nawiązanie do opowieści podczas wernisażu Andrzeja Jana Piwarskiego, autora eksponowanych dzieł w Sali BHP. Malarzowi, notabene przeciwstawiającemu się już od lat sześćdziesiątych XX wieku powszechnie panującemu ówcześnie socrealizmowi, rejestrującemu wolnościowe wydarzenia w Gdańsku, ale nie tylko, zamarzyło się przedstawienie swoich prac stoczniowcom, ale nie w stoczni im. Włodzimierza Lenina. Jak można bowiem pokazywać Grzegorza Przemyka z symbolicznym gestem wolności, minutę ciszy poświęconą ofiarom Grudnia 1 970 roku, robotniczą demonstrację pod hasłem ,,Aby Polska była Polską” czy wyskakującego na koniu z dziury w murze Józefa Piłsudskiego (a może Tadeusza Kościuszkę czy Jana III Sobieskiego) w stoczni, która nie jest stocznią polską? Dzisiaj marze nie się spełniło. Nie będę pisać o bogatej twórczości Piwarskiego i to w różnych dziedzinach sztuki, bo przecież uprawia nie tylko malarstwo. ale o tym można przeczytać na niejednej stronie intemetowej. Warto jednak wspomnieć, że jego prapradziadkiem był jeden z pierwszych polskich litografów Jan Feliks Piwarski, który w swojej twórczości prezentował wyłącznie rodzime motywy. Synem Jana był również plastyk, rysownik miniaturzysta Adolf Piwarski, notabene założyciel drukarni Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego. Nic więc dziwnego, ze ktoś, kto wywodzi się z rodziny o tradycjach artystycznych, ale i patriotycznych, a na dodatek sam, jako dziecko, uczestniczył w Powstaniu Warszawskim, jest niezwykle wrażliwy, kocha piękno, dobro, a przede wszystkim prawdę. Obrazy Andrzeja Piwarskiego są niezwykle ekspresyjne. Widać na nich ostre kanty, podkreślenie konturów, dramatyzm, akcji, nawet jeśli są to tylko kostki bruku z niedopałkiem papierosa, strzępem gazety czy plamą krwi. Malarz uprawia współczesny realizm, który nie ma nic wspólnego z idyllicznymi scenami rodzajowymi XVII czy XVIII wieku. Są to konkrety z bogatą symboliką, jak chociażby postać jeźdźca przeskakującego ceglany mur – ni to Wołodyjowski. ni Wałęsa. a może po prostu Polska wyskakująca za żelaznej kurtyny nadzieja na wolność. Pełno tam biało-czerwonych flag, są też napisy: typowe dla mężczyzn ,,Kocham B.” (zapewne nawiązanie do imienia Barbara – żony artysty, też plastyczki, ale rzeźbiarki,), wolność, „Solidarność”. Obok symbol Polski Walczącej, a dalej z gęstwiny dynów i kłębiących się ludzi wyłaniają się skrawki nieba. Ostre pociągnięcia pędzla, farba jakby niedoschnięta, wychodząca z obrazu, podkreślają wagę sytuacji. Kolejny obraz i kolejne doświadczenie. robotnicy. gdańscy stoczniowcy, biało-czerwone barwy i przebijające się słońce, może za sprawą odprawianej mszy świętej w socjalistycznym, a więc tym bez Boga, zakładzie – symbol dający ludziom nadzieję na lepsze jutro. Jakże realistyczny jest wychodzący poza fakturę obrazu kombinezon stoczniowca ułożony w geście wzlotu. . . – Do nieba? Do przyszłości? Niestety, jest też upadający Ikar – to zapewne w nawiązaniu do śmierci księdza Jerzego Popiełuszki. Czyżby wzbił się zbyt wysoko, naiwnie chciał zbyt wiele, nie docenił przeciwnika i dlatego musiał zginąć? On August 19, 2015 year in the Stadthalle Münster was opened an exhibition of paintings by Andrzej Piwarski. The author presented the 12 paintings from the series “Traces – Hopes.” The exhibition was held within the project “Memory of the Past for Future Generations in Europe – 35 years of Solidarność”.
The project was carried out by the Commission Inter-Workers Education and Education in Gdansk with the participation of Polish-German Cooperation Foundation and the Union of European Federalists in Lodz.
At the opening he was invited as guest of honor Andrzej Piwarski – painter, graphic artist, activist Polonia, who came with his wife Barbara Ur – Piwarską (also painter).
Exhibition was opened by Chairman of the Committee on Inter-Workers Education and Education in Gdansk Bozena Brauer, who presented the silhouette artistic creators.
Andrzej Piwarski very emotionally told the audience at the opening of his artistic activity – the first solo exhibition was held was in Münster in 1974. He referred to the presented twelve images. “These images are shocking and also very painful record of moving moments of our nation. At the beginning of December 2014 was published “The Great Encyclopedia of World Polonia“ numbering 534 pages, edited by prof. Zbigniew S.Piasek. Publishers Foundation “Institute for Education and Development” in Czestochowa and Publisher Polonia University in Czestochowa. The idea of the Encyclopedia is to maintain and preserve the heritage of the Polish community, remaining in exile, and Poles in the country, actively cooperating with numerous organizations, associations and foundations Polonia. Encyclopedia on pages 239-245 placed biography, a portrait, a photograph in the studio at work and the three color reproductions of works Andrzej Jan Piwarski. In the Hall BHP Gdansk Shipyard street Doki 1 Bud.131 A on 10 December 2014 at 12.oo was opening an exhibition of Andrzej Jan Piwarski “My Solidarność”. The exhibition was organized by the National Commission of “Solidarność”, Regional Board of “Solidarność”- Gdańsk, the Inter Commission –NZSS “Solidarność” Shipyard “Repair” unter name J.Piłsudski – Gdańsk. Exhibiting part of a series of events associated with the celebration of the XXXV anniversary of the “Solidarność”. A kind of catalog of the exhibition is released special commemorative calendar for the year 2015. Silhouette artist presented the Chief Editor of the monthly magazine “Solidarność” Margorzata Kuźma. Exhibition was opened by Deputy Chairman of the National Commission Tadeusz Majchrowicz and the Chairman of the Board of Gdańsk Region “Solidarnośc” Krzysztof Dośla. The artistic activity of Andrzej Piwarski discussed the Chairman of the Board Association of Polish Artists and Designers Janusz Janowski. The exhibition will last until 31 March 2015. THE MUSEUM OF BARBARA UR PIWARSKA AND ANDRZEJ PIWARSKI On 08. Novenmber 2014 at the opening ceremony of the exhibition of paintings in the Municipal Cultural Center in Tuchomie, the works created during the of thirteen International Symposia Artists in Tuchomie was signed contracts for the uprising: Communal Museum of European Art Laboratory Barbara Ur Piwarska and Andrzej Piwarski in Tuchomie and European Sculpture Park Barbara Ur Piwarska and Andrzej Piwarski in Tuchomie. Barbara Ur Piwarska and Andrzej Piwarski free are lending works of art in the form of paintings and sculptures created in the organized through them International Symposiums Artists in Tuchomie in the years 1993-2006. Additionally, Barbara and Andrzej Piwarski are lending their paintings and sculptures created out of symposia. They shall also provide documentation of works and exhibitions organized in the years 1993 – 2014 in Poland and abroad, by the European Laboratory of Art in Tuchomie.

Currently place of exhibition of paintings and sculptures will be buildings of the Municipal Office, the Municipal Cultural Centre and the Centre for International Meetings in Tuchomie.
